Dividends to be Mailed by Federal Land Bank Assoc

The Federal Land Bank Association of David City will mail dividend checks July 15 totaling more than 25 640 to about 500 stockholding farmers. The association is one of 95 farmer owned groups in four states that own the Federal Land Bank of Omaha and issue long term farm loans in Polk and surrounding counties. Directors include President Arnold Fredrickson Doyle Fadschild Adolph Codk Henry Brase and James Brezina.

Local Socials and Visits In Polk County

Mrs Reuben Anderson completed a five week summer session at Concordia College Seward last Friday. Friday evening guests in the Darold Hoffman home included Mr and Mrs Martin Hoffman Jr and family and Mr and Mrs Harry Obrist. Ricky celebrated his eighth birthday with Bill and Tom Hoffman as overnight guests. Walter Nelson and family hosted relatives at Thedford from Friday to Sunday. Mrs Henry Rieverson of Bradshaw visited Mrs Mary Salchow. A Benedict school group enjoyed a swimming party at Central City and later shared a picnic supper at the Sandell home.
