Sacramento perch added to Nebraska game fish list

The Sacramento perch has been added to Nebraska's game fish list as it thrives in Sand Hill lakes. Introduced in 1961 with 8568 fish from California, it has established in Hudson and Clear lakes, though other lakes showed limited success. The species tolerates brackish or alkaline waters, aiding angling in waters lacking native Nebraska fish.
