Miss Naomi Alfred and Miss Vera Hill left for Lincoln to stay until after the Fourth while Miss Lucille Allen visited in Lincoln. Mrs. W. C. Steele and Wilmelta visited Central City. Miss Hazel Adelson and Vera Hill traveled to Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henness visited, with relatives in the area. Charles Hoover and Roscoe Imes guests of local families over the weekend. Henry Hartmar and wife departed for home.

Among those who celebrated at Central City were John S. Anderson and family W A Wurtz and wife Ed and Theo Larson and their families Arnold Beckman and family T J Nelson and family Oscar Strand and family W P Miller and wife Will Cohagan and wife and George Mitchell Bert Cummings and family were York visitors Tuesday Mr and Mrs O E Davis and children and Ted Smith drove from Lincoln last Saturday and visited until Tuesday in the R J Smith home Stew Peterson visited friends and relatives in York Tuesday Little Jeanette Erickson of Stromsburg came last Friday to visit her aunt Mrs Harry Shater Miss Hazel and Merle White arrived Sunday from Lincoln to visit in the Miss Minnie White home over the Fourth Miss Enore Alfred was home from Kearney over the Fourth visiting her parents Miss Gladys Adelson went to Central City Monday to visit friends for several days.
