Hog prices showed little movement after a 16,500 head sale. Trade remained mostly steady, with the top easing a nickel to 11.50 per hundredweight and bulk offerings trading around 10.85 to 11.50.

Sheep and Lambs Strong as Trade Improves at Auction

About 9 000 sheep and lambs offered with the lamb trade improving from steady to 25 cents higher. Best western lambs brought around 14.90 dollars, natives about 14.35, and feeder demand remained robust. FAT LAMBS ranged 14.50 to 14.90 for good to choice, with other classes quoted from 11.50 to 14.25. Feeder lambs and clips showed firm to steady values amid strong market activity.
