Hardville residents rallied after holidays with Mr and Mrs Floyd Johnson and Mrs David Johnson. The Baptist WMS elected officers for another year. Ron Johnson as president, Gerald Larson as vice president, Dale Manquist secretary, and Elmer Garner treasurer. Girls basketball with McCool was rained out and rescheduled. Boys beat McCool 68-39, then lost 63-60 to Silver Creek. Upcoming: Polk girls January 13. boys at Hampton January 14, January 20 at Nebraska Christian, January 21 at Rising City. girls at Rising City January 18. PTA meeting January 19.

Merlin Lampshire and family of Aurora were Sunday visitors in the Clarence Johnson home. Sunday guests at the Jones home included Mr and Mrs James Everett of St Paul and Mr and Mrs Leonard Beetum of Central City.
