Draft Repeal Urged for Selective Service Provisions
In a letter to the House Military Committee Secretary Baker urges immediate legislation to resume voluntary enlistment and repeal wartime selective service limits. Uncle Sam’s war promises to farmers may cost half a billion dollars or more to bridge the gap between market prices and the wartime price guarantees. Cyrus S. president of Intermine company retires. Hare elected to board as Harvester leadership shifts occur.
