Changes In ACP To Accommodate Big Farm Machinery
Rob ert L. Zink heads the ACP cost sharing program in Nebraska and says that beginning in 1962 terrace slope and channel width will be optional to fit farmer equipment. Designs can accommodate 4 row 40 inch corn or 6 row layouts by adjusting depth and spacing. Nebraska leads in terrace construction with over 100000 miles built in 20 years. Wildlife conservation is added with cost sharing at 50 percent for habitat, marsh zones, and ponds for waterfowl and fish.
