Polk Village OKs Gas Franchise With Kansas Nebraska Natural Gas

The Village of Polk Nebraska passes Ordinance 156 granting Kansas Nebraska Natural Gas Company Inc and successors a 25 year right to construct operate and maintain a gas transmission and distribution system within Polk. The ordinance details route placement paving restoration payment 2 percent of gross domestic and commercial gas receipts and a tax-like contribution in aid of construction plus annual reports and conditions for termination and customer meter testing.
