East-West Bus Service For Polk Starts March 2nd
Nebraska Motor Coach of Columbus will inaugurate daily service between Central City and Omaha with Polk as a stop at the hotel building. Regular trips depart Central City at 8 20 a.m. and 11 55 a.m. return from Omaha at 5 15 p.m. and 8 55 p.m. A 90 day trial will determine if the service is economically feasible.

Commercial Club Hears Watershed District Proposal
Gary Garey and Bruce Anderson outlined a watershed project for Polk County and nearby areas under a new state law authorizing Conservancy Districts.
