The American Legion Auxiliary held a Christmas party Tuesday evening at the Legion Hall for 65 attendees. A 6:30 covered dish supper featured fried chicken and pie. Santa Claus visited Polk on Saturday to greet about 250 children after a free theater show. From a candy-filled truck he handed out 300 sacks of sweets and promised to return next year.
