Farmers Union Holds Annual Meeting 1952 Polk County
The Polk County Farmers Union met at Swede Home on December 1 1952 with 100 members. Orvil Hennings was reelected president for a fifth term. Mrs Lloyd Hahn presented Rev Edick Anderson a Good Neighbor Plaque and Pin from Ak Sar Ben. Resolutions supported rate relief for MAncoli Telephone Co. and opposed misused Schroeder road funds.
