Polk farmer wins first prize in barley display
J. J. Bills of Polk won first prize with his display of Club Mariout Barley and third prize with Brunker Oats at the small grain show organized by Agriculture College Lincoln last week. Top honors in the state show were evenly distributed among growers. over 500 samples exhibited. results announced by D. L. Gross secretary of the Nebraska Crop Growers Association which sponsored the show.

The Christmas Pageant will be given at the Methodist Church on Montaay evening December 20th. The nativity scenes and modern practices illustrate living in the true Christmas Spirit. About seventy characters participate in the pageant with a worship service and short program by Sunday School scholars preceding the pageant.

Built over 25 years ago, it carried a long, eventful history with many clubs, affairs of state and notable Osceola men associated with it.
