The Polk Public School hot lunch program begins the new school year September 1 with Mrs. Laura Bolton entering her 17th year as manager. Returning assistants are Mrs. Ethel Ostrander, Mrs. Minnie Miers, and Mrs. Carol Nelson. Prices remain first-semester same as last year: students 35c, adults 40c. Week tickets cost 1.75 for students and 2.00 for adults. Blocks of 20 days are 7.00 and 8.00. Semester tickets: students 29.75, adults 34.00.
