Northside Softballers Tie 21 21 in Curfew-Shortened Tilt
The Northside Softball club earned a moral victory with a 21 21 tie before a 9 45 curfew halted play. Southside sluggers sparked early offense led by Marv Fredrickson as Northsiders battled back with Rev Wong keeping the Northaiders in check. A free will sale raised 43 45 for the Commercial Club with modest expenses and a 3 45 net, while patrons praised the event and called for annual games. Mr and Mrs Bill Bannister of Aurora visited Orrin Alfred in Richmond California.

Grip enters National Auto Race at Nebraska State Fair

Poll School Board hires four bus drivers for new fleet
Four drivers were chosen by the Poll School Board to operate the new buses arriving this week. Wendell Shaw H B Johnson Roversi Merchantz and John Sweeede were hired at eighty dollars a month. They will rotate on noon kindergarten routes and extra curricular trips with plants to assemble in Richmond and Mitchell factories.
