Social visits mark Thursday in Pork Community homes

Thursday afternoon visitors included Sig Anderson of Tacoma Axel and Enoch Anderson of Osceola and Don Widga family. Other guests came from Benedict Haxtun Colo and Lincoln, with multiple family gatherings noted during the week in Osceola, ONeill, Bradshaw and Polk areas.

Nybergs Honored On 30th Wedding Anniversary at Holdrege

The Nybergs Mr and Mrs Edwin Nyberg were feted at a picnic supper at their Holdrege home for their 30th wedding anniversary. Relatives including Miss Helen Nyberg of Cody and Mrs Mary Nyberg joined the event and celebrations.

Polk County Cancer Crusade Contributions Total

The people of Polk County contributed 2429.55 to the 1966 Cancer Crusade including 341.90 in memorial gifts. The American Cancer Society pledges best use for research education and service and thanks contributors and chairmen. Mr and Mrs Robert Sigler Osceola and Robert Sigler Jr Mr and Mrs Harlan Johnson and Mrs O E Johnson visited Oscar Johnson at Central City hospital and were later coffee guests.
