Fatal Parathion Pesticide Accident In Dunning Nebraska
An empty $2 pesticide barrel in Dunning broadcast parathion poisoning to three boys aged 6 and 7 on June 29 1968. Byron Milleson died after severe symptoms, David Copp recovered, Kurt Saner survived with pulmonary edema. All three were exposed by skin contact through play. barrel label was mutilated and parathion was confirmed.
