Lind Family Reunion Picnic At Buckley Park

The 41st Lind family reunion was held at Buckley Park Stromsburg on Sunday August 4. A noon chicken dinner was served by Alvena Lind and Virginia Samuelson. A business meeting led by Lloyd Lind followed the meal. Lawerence Lind named chairman for next year and sixty five guests attended.

Veterans Service Office report and county fund transfers approved

The Veterans Service Officer's quarterly report was reviewed by the County Board and approved. July fees from offices were submitted to the County Treasurer with receipts attached. The board authorized transferring 15000.00 from Time Deposit Certificates at National Bank of Commerce Lincoln to Citizens State Bank Polk. The meeting adjourned to August 20, 1968. Fossberg Families Picnic In Lincoln

The Fossberg reunion gathered 42 relatives at Antelope Park Lincoln on Sunday August 11.
