Record Wheat Run At Omaha
Five hundred and thirty six cars of wheat arrived in one day at the Omaha Grain Exchange, the year's largest run. Receipts of 758 ears covered two days, with about 1,500 cars of new wheat expected, while Chicago futures dipped. Omaha cash wheat held firm, especially high protein grades. A Nebraska tour plans to visit in August with Ohio and Michigan farmers touring Hyannis, the Sandhills, and Lincoln sites.
