Sgt DeVern Lindholm received four Bronze Stars with Valor Device and Oak Leaf Cluster for heroism in Vietnam. He earned the first Bronze Star on March 5 and the Army Commendation Medal for actions on April 2 while directing troops and redistributing ammunition under heavy fire.
