Paul W. Bender Dies at 74 in Clarks

Paul W. Bender 74 of Clarks died Friday at his home. Funeral services were held Monday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Central City. Survived by wife, one son Melvin, daughters Mrs Duane Eaton Central City and Mrs Dale Bade Hooper, three brothers and four sisters.

All Sports Banquet Celebrates Brenda Bankson Dana Anderson

The All Sports Banquet themed Yesterday Once More featured a 7:00 PM buffet in the grade school gym and awards by Mr Owens Mr Fleming Mr Green and Mrs Stevens. Brenda Bankson and Dana Anderson were crowned royalty with Heidi Harrington and Monte Hudson as attendants. A 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM dance followed in the high school gym with band Next from Lincoln providing music.
