P. W. Aker Intensifies Campaign for 25th District

Parks Aker known as P. W. Park s Aker campaigns for the non political state legislature seat representing Polk Hamilton and Clay counties. He orders more campaign cards to inform voters of his eight years on the Clay County board of supervisors nine on the Harvard school board six on the Polk school board and six on the Polk Farmers Co op Elevator board. The 25th district has been without representation since Senator Hans O Jensen resigned to join the federal government.

Bridal Shower Honors Miss Doris Scott

Mrs. Ronnie Heiden and Barbara Carlson of Lincoln hosted a bridal shower for Miss Doris Scott of Columbus on Saturday evening at Mrs. Harlan Johnson’s home. Mrs. Dick Harless led the games. Guests travelled from Grand Island, Shelby, Columbus and Central City. A lunch followed gift opening.
