The Polk County Spelling Contest will be held Saturday afternoon April 11 beginning at 1 PM in the Osceola High School Building. Contests target 4th 6th 6th 7th and 8th grades with four ribbon awards. Top spellers advance to World Herald and State Fair contests. a World Herald medal will crown the Grand Champion Speller of the county.

Children 14 and under assemble at the High School at 1 20 p m for instructions and egg hunting in two age groups.
