Scout Camporee Scheduled For Next Friday and Saturday
A Summer Scout Camporee will be held for Thimpanogos District on Friday and Saturday June 24 and 26 at Little Mill Forest Camp American Fork canyon. Scouts check in at 4:00 p.m. Friday with a campfire at 8:00 p.m. Saturday features patrol contests and various skill activities. Public is invited to attend both days.

Timpanogos Stake made a strong showing at the June Conference in Salt Lake City. About 95 to 100 youths from the area joined the Dance Festival at the University of Utah Stadium, under the leadership of Harvey and Nelda Rawlinson. Twenty singers performed at the Salt Lake Tabernacle music festival, guided by Ruth Shoell and Colleen Marrett, with support from Stake President Ruby Fugal, Stake Superintendent Grant Fugal, and ward officers. The MIA music festival will be broadcast on KSL next Saturday at 9 30 pm.
