A. L. Huffer of Mynard hosts his sister Mrs. Clara Strader of Pickering Ohio visiting for the first time in years. They lost nearly all belongings in spring floods along with her district’s houses, keeping only their auto and salvaged stoves. Strader, formerly Miss Clara Huffer, studied in 1884 1885. Huffer later called at the Journal office with peaches from his Nebraska farm that outdid all previous local fruit.

Thief Foiled in Getaway at Local Department Store
