SAD DEATH OF MRS. WAYNE DICKSON
Mrs. Wayne Dickson nee Clee Applegate of Lincoln died at her home in Lincoln. She leaves five year old Louise and her husband Wayne Dickson who died in Omaha January 27. A former Union youth and Flattsmouth teacher, she lived in Plattsmouth before moving to Omaha. Funeral arrangements will be announced and services held in Plattsmouth with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.

MEETS WITH SERIOUS ACCIDENT NEAR NEHawka
Uncle Simon Grueber, long-time resident between Union and Nehawka, recently hospitalized in Nebraska City, was injured when a taxi en route home from the hospital left the road and struck a ditch. Grueber suffered a severe gash to the right thigh and other injuries. He was moved to the home of Chris Madison near Wyoming where a physician treated him.

Monarchs Rout Omaha in Doubleheader Sweep

Narrow road hill collision injures none
Two large cars the Cadillac roadster driven by Carl Ohlschlager and a Willys Knight driven by W F Nolting collided at a hidden culvert and narrow hill crossing west of the L. L. Wiles farm. Excellent Woman Laid To Rest Here
The mortal remains of Mrs. Wayne Dickson were buried this afternoon after arriving from Lincoln on the Burlington train. The service at First Presbyterian Church was led by Rev. H. G. McClusky who praised Mrs. Dickson's strong character and faith in the Master. The funeral followed a large showing of friendship and sympathy, with generous floral offerings, and she rests in the cemetery beside her late husband who predeceased her a few months earlier.
