Jack Edward Carmack four months old died Sunday night at home in Omahe and was brought to Omaha for burial at Oak Hill. Grandparents Carl and Mrs Kinsman hosted the simple Episcopal funeral conducted by Rev W S Leete of St Lukes. The baby had remained fragile since birth, with condition worsening until death relieved his suffering. Parents receive deep sympathy from old friends.

L Deitz foreman of the Burlington lumber yard announced he was headed for Keokuk Iowa calling it the biggest dam town in the world. The A. W. Dawson family after a twenty seven year residence in this city are leaving for Detroit to reside in the east. Their home on Gold street has been sold to A. B. Hass of Oreapolis and packing of the household goods is underway. Mrs. Dawson will depart when packed while Mr. Dawson stays until the family settles east. Fred Dawson, the son, works for the Detroit Electric Fur nace company in Michigan City and wishes the family to join him. The Dawsons came here in 1893 from St. Paul and have many friends who regret their departure.
