The Watson Brothers Transfer Co of Nebraska City faced repeated holdups on highway No 75 with two prior robberies netting 600 and 400 dollars. On Wednesday a Chevrolet driven by a woman and two armed men seized the truck near Oreapolis but found no cash and fled after attempting to disable the vehicle. Deputy Sheriff J E Lancaster followed the truck with Ellis Lacy who reported being tailed by an Essex as the pursuit continued toward Oreapolis and beyond.
