Eight miles west of town a theft occurred at Herman Hennings dairy last night. About sixty Plymouth Rock chickens and a spare wheel and tire attached to the family car in the garage were taken. Sheriff Homer Sylvester investigated but found no trace of the missing birds or at large items.
