On a designated vacation day the Nebraska end toll house at the bridge is toll free from early morning until the crowd from Iowa returns home. Clarence Conner and Philip Horn swap shifts normally, but today no tolls are charged and Albert Conner covers the day shift while Horn works the night. Hip hip hurrah for no tolls.
