Funeral of Mrs Arminda Graves Held in Plattsmouth
The funeral for Mrs Arminda J Graves was held Thursday at the First Christian Church with Rev J W Taenzler presiding. Interment followed at Rock Bluffs cemetery. pallbearers were Dewey C Read Revel Sack John W Alwin Edward G Ore Roy Carey and Joe Shera. Mrs Graves born June 1 1848 near Little Rock Arkansas came to Nebraska as a girl and died April 24 1939 aged 90 years 10 months 23 days leaving five children and twenty one grandchildren.

Friday April 21 a boy was born at Clarkson hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Glen Kraeger. The Kraeger family, long established farmers near the city, celebrate the birth with happiness for both families. Mrs. Kraeger is former Miss Hilda Frederick, and the baby is a grandson of Louis Frederick of Cedar Creek and Jake Kraeger and his wife.

Arrests in fraud check roundup by sheriff and deputy

Elmwood Woman Dies After Overdose At Home
Elmwood. Mrs Lylete Williams 45 died at her home shortly after 4 AM Sunday. County Attorney Walter H. Smith and Sheriff Joe Mrasek investigated the death, family stating long illness since 1932 and that she took phenobarbital tablets for sleep. Survived by husband N J Williams veterinarian and six children all living in Elmwood.

Aged Cass County Matron in Critical Condition After Fall
County Treasurer John E. Turner and wife were with his 94 year old grandmother at Elmwood last night. The Cass County resident fractured her hip after a fall at her son James Turner’s home a week ago. She has since stayed with a granddaughter Mrs N D Bothwell.
