Nolting Dies at Farm Home Near Plattsmouth
Fred W. Nolting 64, lifelong farmer and Plattsmouth resident, died Sunday from heart trouble at his farm home on Rock Bluffs road after months of illness. He was born July 10, 1869, married Dec 3, 1887, and is survived by his widow and two daughters Grace Heitzhausen of Billings Montana and Ella Spangler of Murray. Funeral is set for Tuesday at 2 PM from First Presbyterian church, with procession leaving at 1:30 PM.

Thirty two boys leave on month's Scout tour
The Louisville Boy Scout caravan passed through this morning en route to the east. They picked up five Plattsmouth boys and crossed the Plattsmouth bridge heading toward Washington in a near straight line or via a northern route past Pittsburgh. The group includes 22 Louisville area boys with several from Fairbury Weeping Water Omaha Plattsmouth. Thirteen of the 322 boys went to Jacksonville, Florida last year.
