Earl Morris Escapes Cass County Jail Again
Cass county jail suffered a fresh breach as Earl Morris, a 15 year old sentenced to the Kearney reform school, slipped from the bull pen last night. He broke a steel bar from the outer door, fled toward Union, and authorities searched by train and road without success as of noon. Morris previously escaped last Saturday and was recaptured later. Local officials urge a new county jail to better hold prisoners.

Gangrene has set in and doctors Pollard and Roy Dodge performed the operation early Tuesday.
