Barn Fire Destroys Baylor Barn North Of Elm Street
Last evening shortly after 9 o clock a fire destroyed the barn of C W Baylor on Elm Street with five horses and several harnesses burned. A live electric wire ignited one trapped horse, and nearby homes were saved only by neighbor hoses. Insurance will cover the loss of the barn and contents. Baylor family was away on a Kimball county trip.

Andrew Dill, lifelong Cass county resident and former Murray settler, died last night at 9 40 in Plattsmouth after several weeks illness. He was 86, nearly 87, and left a widow and four children. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Eight Mile Grove with burial there.
