Ritz theatre proprietor harmed in craftsman knife accident
G. G. Griffin owner of the Ritz theatre suffered a severe injury Thursday afternoon at his theater building home when a knife slipped while cutting a board. The blade severed his left little finger and cut deeply into the palm. He was rushed to Immanuel hospital in Omaha for treatment. Mrs. Griffin stayed with him and updated his condition.

The funeral for William Schneider was held Thursday at Cedar Creek, where he had lived all his life. Friends from near and far attended, with a large congregation awaiting the procession. Rev. H. G. Noble C. Fairly Shows to Open in This City
The Noble C. Fairly carnival company will open in the city the week of June 22. The Livingston Road in Plattsmouth was formally dedicated in honor of General Robert Ramsey Livingston. The Women’s Relief Corps organized the event at Wintersteen Hill park with speeches, a flag salute, and a marker near the park. The ceremony noted Livingston’s Civil War service and his family’s widespread local medical impact. The city council had earlier designated the highway from Plattsmouth to the Missouri River Bridge as Livingston Road, in memory of this pioneer family.
