Clyde Ptak Dies After Sudden Stroke at 22
Clyde Ptak 22 son of Mr and Mrs Emmons Ptak of this city died at 9 30 this morning after a paralytic stroke last night while visiting friends in the country and after car trouble. He had diabetes in youth and suffered high blood pressure, but remained active with his father at the Rainbow soft drink parlor on South Sixth street. He is survived by his parents one sister Mrs Alice Sharnack of Lincoln and one brother Theodore Piak of this city, plus several uncles and aunts. The community extends deepest sympathy.

Auto Train Smashup Injures Two Men Near Oak Street Crossing
Friday evening a Missouri Pacific train struck a coupe driven by Fred McMaken at the Oak street crossing while he was taking John Wondra home. The impact badly damaged the radiator and engine. both occupants were shaken but uninjured. The wrecked car was towed to the O. K. garage for repairs.
