First Itinerant Merchants Complaint Filed in Cass County
The first case under the new itinerant merchants law was filed today in Cass County Court against Earl Young of Lancaster County. The complaint alleges Young bought corn from Union and southern Cass residents without the required license or bond. Conviction can bring a fine of 25 to 100 dollars.

Plattsmouth Bank President Injured in Ice Crash

Robert Linville, 27, of Omaha, was severely injured in a Sunday crash at 24th Street and a milk truck. He remained at Nicholas Senn Hospital with a near amputation and a leg fracture. Corn loan program under way in Cass county
