Trucks Collide On Louisville Road Scattering Horses
Saturday night near Chris Tschirren place west of the city a collision between Cordell Brothers of Malvern Iowa horse truck and an empty truck driven by Edward Baumgart caused the horse load to spill onto the highway. Deputy Sheriff Cass Sylvester investigated the incident and the horses were later rounded up and taken to Malvern.

Phillip Cook Dies at Home in Norfolk Nebraska
Phillip Cook aged 85 and eldest of Cass county pioneers died Sunday morning in Norfolk Nebraska where he had lived many years. He was born in Tass country on December 1562? and survived by five sons three daughters living in California Yancey Nebraska George Hudar Nebraska and two daughters Mrs Bell Wenke and Mrs Minnie Wenke and John Conk and Mrs Etta Mattson all of Norfolk. Thirty grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren also survive along with three brothers and one sister Joseph Charles Cook of Norfolk John of Beaver City and Mrs Caroline Cole of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Norfolk with interment there.
