Police in Omaha recovered more than 1000 dollars of stolen goods from five Nebraska towns Wahoo Mead Fremont Union and Beatrice after arrests Saturday afternoon of William Moneyhan and Montgomery. The men confessed to multiple robberies and investigators expect to recover another 1000 dollars in loot including tires clothing cameras and auto accessories. Moneyhan claimed he stole the car used in the crime six weeks earlier in an Iowa town and believed its origin to be Denison though he was unsure.

Fire At Elmwood Farm Damages Pratt Home
An oil stove caused a Sunday afternoon fire at the Elmwood farm home of Arlo Pratt located one mile south and one mile east of Elmwood. Pratt and his wife left for Weeping Water, leaving the stove burning. Omaha hunters saw the blaze about a half hour later and alerted the Elmwood volunteer fire department, which battled the flames and saved most furniture despite damaged floors walls and a burned roof. Richard Deles Dernier, Pratt's father in law, owns the property.

Death of Longtime Louisville Resident Thomas J Decker
Thomas Jefferson Decker died yesterday afternoon at the county farm west of the city where he had lived the past two years. He was eighty two. He spent many years in the Louisville area. The body will be returned to Louisville for funeral services.
