Death of Former Omaha Resident Mrs James Grace
News reached here of the death at her South Side Omaha home of Mrs. James Grace former resident of this city. The Grace family left about thirty years ago and were active in the south part of Omaha. Mr Grace a former city chief of police and later a member of the South Omaha force remains on the rolls as turnkey though largely inactive. Mrs Grace had been ill a short time and is survived by her husband two sons Frank and Tom and two daughters Miss Josephine Grace and Kittie Connor all living in Omaha.

Auto Crash Leaves Nehawka Woman Injured On Icy Road
Mrs. Glen Rutledge of Nehawka was driving a Whippet facing a sheet of ice two miles south of the city. Her car overturned and she was knocked unconscious before passing motorists rescued her and brought her to town. She suffered severe bruises and possible broken ribs, with a nervous condition following the crash. Her car sustained little damage. A second vehicle also overturned on the same icy stretch, its occupants escaping through a window.

Too Much Canned Heat Sentenced In County Court
Fred Grimes of Casper Wyoming appeared in county court after creating a disturbance at the Henry Stander place near Louisville. Deputies found him in a wash house and under the influence of canned heat. He pleaded guilty and was sent to board with Sheriff Bert Reed for twenty days to cool down.
