Civil War veteran William McCully dies at 87 in Condon
William McCully born October 1 1829 in Clarfield county Pennsylvania died November 16 1907 at his daughter Mrs Dan Thouvenels home in Condon Oregon after a hearty meal. He served the Union and was wounded three times at Gettysburg. Funeral held at his daughter’s home conducted by Rev G W Riggs then burial in the local cemetery. He lived in Plattsmouth Nebraska before moving to Washington and finally to Oregon where relatives in Cass county survive him.
