Death of Nellie Gorder lifelong Cass County resident
Mrs Nellie Gorder aged 66 died at her Marble Street home after months of illness. Survived by son William and daughters Mrs Robert Painter Miss Nellie Gorder and Mrs Myron Birdsley with siblings and numerous grandchildren and nieces. She was born April 29 1873 in Cass County and moved to Plattsmouth then back to Cass County before marriage to August Gorder in 1896.

Death of Mrs Clara Grassman in Louisville
Mrs. Clara Grassman, 60, died last night in Louisville after a long illness. Born in Iowa, she moved to Plattsmouth as a girl, married Edward Grossman who perished in a 1907 explosion, and later lived with her mother and stepfather. Survived by three sons Carl, Charles, Ralph and two daughters Violet and Fern. She was a Methodist church member in Louisville.
