Officer dies after Council Bluffs shooting

Weeping Water pays off Cass county courthouse bonds
County commissioners in session last week voted to transfer 35 000 from the general fund to pay the last of the Cass county courthouse bonds. The 1888 era edifice bears the names Jacob Tritsch A B Todd and A C Loder Bird Critchfield county clerk. The building stands as a monument to 380 000 invested and the county now has no B M bonds outstanding or court house bonds.
