Police arrest six in Plano and probe two-car crashes
Plano police arrested six people on Wednesday including a 26 year old on a city warrant and a 17 year old for no license. Three people were injured in two crashes at W 15th and Highedge around 4:40 and 4:45 p.m. The first collision involved a 1974 Toyota driven by Richard Ryder III, a 1977 Pontiac driven by Leta Emery, and a 1973 Ford driven by Barbara Sheets, with Emery, Sheets and Lisa Sheets lightly injured. The second crash involved Denise Moreland in a 1970 Oldsmobile and Bobby Fisher in a 1977 Dodge, with Moreland suffering minor injuries.

Free Lunches For Seniors In Collin County
More than 500 free lunches are served to senior citizens across Collin County under the elderly nutrition program run by the Collin County Committee on Aging. In Plano, the Community House offers weekday meals 1 to 5 pm at 1318 Ave J, funded 90 percent by federal sources. The program costs 80 000 dollars annually, serving about 650 meals weekly, with Plano providing under 50 meals weekly.
