Pershing missile firings from McGregor Range to White Sands
Army units from Europe fired two Pershing missiles from McGregor Range to White Sands Missile Range as part of an eight round series. Two more Pershings will be fired from Fort Wingate later this month by Seventh Army personnel. The two Wednesday missiles impacted on target. six of eight rounds have now been launched from McGregor Range to WSMR.

Campaign treasurer reveals oil employee donations returned

Police arrested nine people Tuesday including six juveniles with offenses in traffic shoplifting and alcohol possession. Also cited were one illegal entry one shoplifting and one license suspended driver. Police logged 58 calls for help recovered a bicycle and investigated an accident between a 1971 White tractor driven by Harmon Huffman of Denton and a 1969 Volkswagen driven by Connie Walden Taylor at the frontage road and Parker Road intersection.
