Acreage Boost for City Park System Meets Council Approval

City Council approved 41.6 acres in Hunters Glen V for 346 611 30 with interest and agreed to 364 388 72 in development costs. They also added 5 914 acres at Custer Road and Country Place Drive for Chisholm Trail linkage financed by a Bureau of Outdoor Recreation grant. Accent Builders Inc. won a 289 over budget contract for park building improvements. In southwest Plano, 150.3 acres faced a split vote over apartment inclusion amid industrial zoning and buffering concerns.

County Court OKs Complex Revisions in Collin County

The county court approved a fifteenth change order adding 5388 to the new Collin County courthouse jail contract. Most of the funds cover 10 intercom stations per Texas Jail Standards. remaining for reinforced steel. Completion date remains June 1978.
