Collision Victims In Critical Condition At Muhlenberg Hospital

Frank Szobod and Herman Overland were injured in a Tuesday morning collision at East Second and Washington streets when Szobod’s motorcycle hit an auto truck. Szobod remains in a coma with a fractured skull and broken leg, while Overland has a fractured leg and multiple wounds and is expected to recover. Both worked at Standard Aero- P and were en route to work when the crash occurred.

Cyclist Crash Spars With Claims of Speed and Aid

Witnesses say two cyclists were riding at a high speed when the crash occurred. Both victims were rushed to hospital after Dr. Albert Pittis examined them. Reach was jailed on a charge and posted bail as Sobed’s injuries were investigated.

Presbytery Severes Ties With Dr Zele After 14 Years

The Presbytery of Elizabeth dissolved relations with Rev J Sherides and Pastor Dr Zele at a special meeting at Second Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth. Dr Zele asked to end his pastorate with the next funder. Commissioners from Crescent Avenues congregation acknowledged his fourteen years at Plainfield Church and praised his work.
