Plainfield Man C A Loizeaux Commissioned Lieutenant

C A Loizeaux is commissioned as a lieutenant by the War Department after exams at Camp Dix. He is expected to go to France in about eight weeks and lead men from South Jersey in the 311th Infantry and 209th Machine Gun units. He declined exemption to serve and has aided others in preparatory studies for the exams. He is the son of J D Lotzeaux of Tieide Avenue and longtime manager at J Dae Lumber Company.
