Fire destroys Dunellen Avenue home in Plainfield area

Firefighters aided by Plainfield and Dunellen crews battled a blaze at Mrs. E Marlow s Dunellen Avenue home. Defective wiring caused the fire which damaged the frame house and its contents estimated at $5 00. Mrs Marlow, a crippled resident, was carried from the dwelling as neighbors watched. Firemen also prevented the flames from reaching the adjacent Metho dist Parsonage. The call came in at 2 41 and West Fourth Street apparatus responded.
