Civil War veterans gather with Inman family for Sunday visit
Mrs Jennie Green Mrs Addie Johnson and Mrs Alice McClain spent Sunday with Mrs C D White. C M Hobbs and Mr and Mrs Fred Hobbs enjoyed a motor trip in the southern part of the state. Mr and Mrs M A Daiman and family H O Wright and son of Indianapolis were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs R H Black. Mr and Mrs Ledgerwood of Middletown came Saturday to visit daughter Mrs B R Inman and family until Wednesday. They attended the grand encampment of the G A R at Indianapolis. Ledgerwood a Civil War veteran served in Co EH 338th Indiana infantry more than three years, wounded at Chickamauga fifty seven years ago last Sunday. Also visiting were J M Inman and wife and daughter Leona of Indianapolis A W Inman of Fillmore and Vernon Scomp of Terre Haute.
