Figures from clerks after polls closed on the second registration day show Guilford township has 1370 registered voters. By precinct No 1 there are 301 men and 279 women, No 2 has 136 men and 140 women, No 3 reports 260 men and 254 women totaling 697 men and 673 women. The oldest registered man is Caleb Dalton aged 91 and the oldest woman is Lydia Bales aged 83.

Narrow Escape In Automobile Accident Near Mooresville

A Berkshire Hog Unit is being organized in this community under E. J. Barker of Thorn Town, a noted Berkshires breeder, and his partner Jay Banks.
